Add product and manufacturer attribute via API

I don’t have experience with the API, so I’m merely tossing around ideas, here. I know that dropdown-type attributes are stored as integers in the DB. Try storing some low integers (1, 2, or 3) as your Manufacturer, and see if they correspond to the options you created. If you have experience with the DB structure, look up the ids of your options, and try storing those.
