Assorted Questions From Someone Evaluating The Software

All carts are different and sometimes it is hard to know what is setable within the cart and what is a feature of a skin or an add on etc.

I was hoping I could make some posts here that I assume are all pretty basic but which might take me hours to resolve. So here goes.

I could not see a way but – can I have the same attribute in more than one group?
So that I can clone and then update all the ones that need to be done in a new group that I would create – but while still maintaining the logic of groups split by function.
The idea would be that I could alter it in either group and it would not matter which.
If not is this the sort of thing I might be able to find as an add on.

I can see how to get 3 pictures uploaded how can I get say 8 pictures associated with a product?
Or is this a skin/template thing.

On the demo cart if I click on an additional image it open up a new box on some other that I have looked at it opens up a lightbox or changes the image in the main window again is this a skin/template thing.
