hide magento stom visitors at development process

thanks man. i forgot about it! 
i found yesterday a better way. i set up the maintenance mode ON and i set my ip to be able to see the magento store.
But the htacccess password is a good and simple idea! i am using it to my secure areas of the websites that i dont want anyone to access !
