Magento Fatal error when adding to cart

take a look your database..
Take a look at the eav_entity_type table and make sure the record for “catalog/product” has the value “catalog/product_attribute_collection” instead of “catalog/category_attribute_collection”. If you change this, there is no need to change any core files!
