MCRYPT_BLOWFISH

I doubt anyone has seen this error before. I have searched high and low on the internet for a solution to this but have found nothing as of yet

I’m getting the following error message when attempting to submit any PayPal information e.g. API username, API password and API signature:

Notice: Use of undefined constant MCRYPT_BLOWFISH – assumed ‘MCRYPT_BLOWFISH’ in /var/www/vhosts/spygadgetsonline.co.uk/httpdocs/lib/Varien/Crypt/Mcrypt.php on line 56

I have contacted my web server and they said they have updated the following two libraries – libmcrypt-2.5.7-5 and php-mcrypt-5.2.12 but still no joy

Anyone any ideas? Is this a really obvious fix that I’m missing?
