Multiple Websites and robots.txt

good question
it boils down to how you have set up the multistore I suppose
if they are all being served from a single document root then a single robots.txt will be fine
If you are doing the multiple document roots method then you will need one per store
its for this kind of reason that I always prefer to serve all stores from a single document root and symlink any others (or edit vhost.conf files to change the document root)
