PayPal Standard showing wrong description!

I have PayPal Standard Payments installed.
Magento vers 1.3
On the PayPal checkout page the Description column for each
item shows just the name of the BUSINESS, not the description for the purchased goods.
Does anyone else have this situation?
This is for PayPal Japan (our location).
