Please advise me on how I should set up this product

this is what custom options are for

just create a simple product and then at the bottom of the left hand menu when editing a product you will see a tab called custom options

these are lightweight options with no reference to unique SKU’s – often misused by people who should really be creating configurable products, but ideal for situations where tracking unique SKUs is not important (eg printed products etc).
