Problem with symbolic links in multi-store-single-cart insta

It is a good guide you are right

however, the way I would always tackle a multi store is to use only one document root, its much simpler than trying to create loads of symlinks

to change your document root for a particular vhost is trivial

you just change the document root so the same one is used across all of you various vhosts
