Problem with the payment methods display

Thank you for your answer.
I double checked in system/configuration/payment methods, but could not see any issue.
The default configuration is set the way I want from the beginning, then my website configuration is set to “use default”, and my English and Italian views are set to “use website”. But English is working and Italian is not.
Is there anything else I can check?

I would like to have a look at the database, but I cannot find where the payment methods are stored.
Does anybody knows how payment methods are managed in the Magento database, in what tables?
