Scheduled tasks won’t automatically schedule for Cron job

My cron.php is running fine (emails confirm that) but for some reason the Scheduled tasks for each job (namely, GoMage feed, sitemap etc) won’t automatically schedule to run when the Cron job runs. Newsletter and xmlconnect seem to be automatically running, but nothing else will, even if I modify the config.xml files for each task to run every few minutes.

Has anyone seen such a problem before, and if so, how do I fix it?
