SOLVED: Moved Magento install to another server, but it still points to the old domain and can’t figure out why!
So I literally followed all of these steps to copy my Magento installation to another server (just an IP address right now):
http://www.mrnordstrom.com/2010/03/03/moving-magento-to-a-new-server/
I got everything copied over just fine, updated the base_url’s in the database, updated local.xml, flushed cache, etc.
When I go to the store homepage, it loads up on the new server, but all the links are still pointing to the old domain. I even reverted the template back to default, same problem.
I double checked .htacess and index.php to make sure it didn’t have anything weird…all looks normal.
I have no idea where it’s referencing the old domain from, but it’s making no sense to me. Any ideas where I can look or why it’s still pointing to the old domain? I can’t get into the admin on the new server because it just redirects to original domain.
