Buying product from type "simple product" when customer is Logout – Magento

I just started to use Magento (1.4.0.1), and I have a problem with ordering a product of a simple type when I’m logged out. I will try to explain my problem and will be grateful if somebody helps me.

The situation is:

  1. I log out from some site on Magento.
  2. I choose to order some product that is of a simple type.
  3. I check out the order (checkout/onepage/).
  4. I click on “Register”.
  5. After that I fill all steps.
  6. After last step I click button “Place order” and see this message “There was an error processing your order. Please contact us or try again later.”

This problem does not show up if I am logged in or if I choose another type of product.

Has anyone had the same problem or know the solution to this?
