Why does Magento Seem Not to Cache Products??

Seems very strange that magento is not caching the products in the slow_backend or fast_backend or any cache for that matter…

Can any one prove me wrong and tell me that magento does indeed cache things like Product title and images instead of pulling it from the EAV??

Actually even more ridiculous is that it doesnt seem to be pulling it from the flat_table for catalog?

Am I doing something wrong or does Magento not seem to cache these easily cachable things?

Same behavior for EE and CE.
