After installation you have access to the facebook like / fan box at your magento store. You can customize the block at your own. Please take care of following steps:

1.) After correct modul installation re-login to magento admin panel. Now you have access to configure all options.

2.) Consider if you want to use XFBML or iFrame to include the box to your site. XFBML is a facebook development and loads a remote javascript file to view the box. Its a more professional way.

3.) You can only link to a facebook page, not to a personal profile. Your can get your page id, from the address bar wenn you go to it on facebook. The app-id is optional.

4.) With this modul you have the ability to customize the box at your own. An example CSS file is stored in ‘{magenot}/media/fblikebox/’. You can activate this in your admin panel.
WARNING: If you take any changes to CSS files, enable the deveoper mode. Otherwise facebook will not load your new file because caching is active.

5.) If you want to use the box in different sizes and types, you can easily create your own templates. For this, you can use the ‘box_example.phtml’ file in the template folder as guidline.

6.) To use the box on diffent pages in your magento store, you can add or change this in the ‘fblikebox.xml’ in the layout-folder.

Versions:
I’ve tested the modul with the versions 1.3 and 1.4.
Older versions maybe run correct but without guarantee.

Nach der Installation steht Ihnen ein Block zur verfügung, in dem sich eine Like / Fan Box von Facebook befindet. Um die Box an Ihre Bedürfnise anzupassen, beachten Sie folgende Schritte:

1.) Nachdem das Modul installiert wurde, loggen Sie sich aus dem Admin-Bereich aus und erneut wieder an. Konfigurieren Sie im Anschluss alle Optionen im Konfigurations-Bereich.

2.) Entscheiden Sie, ob sie XFBML oder ein iFrame zur Anzeige verwenden möchten.
XFBML ist eine JavaScript-Lösung von Facebook, die eine Datei von einem entfernten Server läd. Die professionellere Variante. Im Falle von XFBML wird automatisch ein Javascript-Code in den Body ihres Magento Shops eingefügt.

3.) Sie können die LikeBox nur mit einer Facebook-Page verknüpfen. Die ID der gewünschten Page erfahren Sie, indem Sie bei Facebook auf Ihre Seite gehen. Die ID steht in der Adresszeile. Die App-ID ist optional.

4.) Mit dem Modul besteht die Möglichkeit, die Facebook Box nach eigenen Wünschen mittels CSS zu gestalten. Hierfür finden Sie eine Beispiel-Datei im Ordner ‘{Magento}/media/fblikebox/’. Diese können Sie im Admin-Bereich aktivieren.
WICHTIG: Aktivieren Sie unbedingt den Developer-Mode, da Ihre Änerungen sonst nicht sichtbar sind, da Facebook dir CSS-Datei cached.

5.) Sollten Sie dir Box öfters verwenden wollen, in verschiedenen Größen und Formen, so können Sie jeder Zeit ein eigenes Box-Template erstellen. Als Vorlage dient Ihnen dabei die Datei ‘box_example.phtml’ im Template-Ordner des Moduls.

6.) Wenn Sie das Modul nicht nur auf der Startseite verwenden möchten, so passen Sie einfach die Bereiche in der ‘fblikebox.xml’ im Layout-Ordner an.

Versionen:
Ich konnte das Modul mit der Version 1.3 und 1.4 testen.
Andere Versionen sind möglich, aber nicht garantiert.
